What Practice Signal is
Each brief summarises publicly available material from official sources (for example GOV.UK, HMRC, Companies House, the FCA, legislation.gov.uk and professional-body regulatory pages). Every item includes a link to the primary source.
What we do not provide
- Legal, tax, accounting, audit, AML or other regulated professional advice
- Opinions on any particular client’s filing position, liability or compliance status
- A guarantee that every relevant change will be captured, or that summaries are complete
- Endorsement by, or affiliation with, HMRC, Companies House, the FCA or any other public body
Your responsibilities
- Apply your own professional judgement before acting
- Check the cited primary source
- Take specific advice where a matter is material to a client or to your practice
Liability
We aim to be accurate at the time of sending. Regulations and guidance change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on Practice Signal, including actions taken or not taken. Nothing in this notice excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Pilot and paid service
Sending a brief does not create a solicitor–client, accountant–client or similar advisory relationship. Paid retainers cover the monitoring and briefing service described in your order confirmation, not advice on specific client matters.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts, and its fonts are served from this site. The contact form does not submit data to us; it opens an email in your own mail app. If you email us, we use your details only to respond to your enquiry and to send any briefs you ask for.
